Bluemax emphasizes that between batches, and even in the same batch that the blue dye process can vary greatly. Dye is also not UV stable and can become lighter in direct sunlight. Color may vary from deep blue to vibrant blue. NOTE ALSO that on blades with bevel or cropped cut. These blades are dye cut on a machine and part of that machine process locks the blade into a channel. Depending on a number of circumstances the machine process will leave an imprint on the side surfaces only. All cut edges will be smooth. Note that the machine squeezes the blades through and depending on heat and other variables after the process is completed you may see a deep cross hatched impression, a very faint one or none at all. This is all NORMAL and will not affect durometer or performance.
