Take a surf trip up the pacific coast with the Saffron & Cedar Candle from Salt & Stone. With notes of saffron, oakmoss, surf wax, and cedarwood, this coconut and soy blend wax candle emulates the nostalgic aroma of forest-covered mountains, salt water, and coastal rain.

Top Notes: Saffron, Heliotrope Flower
Mid Notes: Oakmoss, Neroli, Surf Wax
Base Notes: Sugar Cane, Cedarwood

8.5oz / 241g / Burn time: 50 hours

Ingredients

Coconut and soy wax blend in a glass vessel.

How to Use

Light this candle for a scent inspired by the pacific coast.

Trim your wick to less than 1/4 of an inch before each burn to avoid black smoke and residue on the glass. To preserve the fragrance, do not burn your candle for more than three hours at a time.

The perfect candle

While I’ve never been a fan of sweet candle scents (I tend to lean towards woody, smokier fragrances), this blew my mind. The cedar balances out the sweet saffron perfectly, and the candle itself has a truly impressive throw to fill the room with an absolutely delectable scent without being overwhelming whatsoever. Compared to other candles this also lasts a fair bit longer, which was unexpected given it’s slightly smaller than others–it absolutely balances out, if not goes above and beyond with the longevity!

So good

This candle is even better than I'd hoped. It's definitely a bit sweeter/ fruitier than I'd anticipated, which actually suits my preferences more but something to keep in mind if you're looking for a deeper, woodier scent.

Success!!

My boyfriend and I finally agree on a scent we both like.. this is bright yet woody at the same time and perfect for the holidays without it being your typical cedar or pine smell. It's burned really nicely as well and comes in a well made box. Will be buying more for gifts for friends.
